Titled, “The Science of Success and the Psychology of Business: A Meeting of Training, Collaboration, and Fun” it is an event specifically designed to promote the economic development of Dominican beauty professionals. The event integrates a dialogue of psychological concepts that will allow us to unpack and break the unconscious thoughts that inhibit success, an administrative analysis of SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) of the beauty industry, and the use of break time and fun to expand through practice the soft skills (the so-called “soft-skills”) necessary to build networks (do “networking”) and how to use what they have learned to increase the monetary benefits of their businesses (salons).
The practice portion to foster networking skills will include visits to historical sites and monuments in the city center of San Giovanni, in Fiore, Italy, Aragonese castles, the cities of Santa Severina, Lorica, and Cosenza. We will also taste Calabrian wines, see a typical dance of the region, and visit the Sila Giant ecological reserve. During this time of rest and fun, group participants will put into practice the networking methods learned in the workshop portion of the event.
Le Castella: Located on the ionic coast of Calabria, 10 km from Isola Capo Rizzuto, it dominates the bay with the ancient Aragonese fortress that is located in an environmental context of high naturalistic beauty. In one of the fortress stanze it is possible to observe and fondali of the marine area, please note for the scenic and environmental values and for the richness of cultural and archaeological resources.

Sleeping Arrangements: Two people per room; single beds.
Transport: The organizers will provide transportation to group events. Participants who wish to explore the city center in their free time should calculate an approximate cost of €15 (euros) per person, round trip.
Certificate: All group members must participate in all training workshops in order to receive a certificate that endorses their learning. Participants who do not meet a minimum of 85% participation in the workshops will have the benefit of what they have learned, but will not qualify to receive a certificate.

Important Note: There are only places for 45 participants in our meeting. The first 45 people to reserve and pay the cost in full will be guaranteed participation. Those who have booked, but have not paid the cost in full within the first 45 people to pay, will have their money returned (less a $10.00 processing fee) by crediting their cards.
